Home Visits

Doctor's bagIf you are too ill to come to the surgery or are house bound please telephone before 10.30am (except in an emergency) so that the doctors can plan their visits. The doctor may ring you back to discuss your symptoms before visiting. Home visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

Home visits usually take place between 12:00 and15:00.

You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
