NEWSFLASH:

Flu Vaccine

We are working hard on our flu vaccine delivery plans.  Please Do Not telephone the practice to book an appointment - you will be contacted when it is time.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, how we contact you will be different at the moment.  This is to limit face-to-face contact whenever possible and help stop the spread of coronavirus.  Face to face appointments are available, but you will be asked to discuss your conditions over the phone or online first to assess what is most appropriate for you and to keep staff and patients safe.

PLEASE BE KIND TO STAFF - THEY HAVE WORKED TIRELESSLY THROUGHOUT THE PANDEMIC TO KEEP OUR PATIENTS SAFE.  Demand is extremely high and we are dealing with requests for many more appointments.  Thank you.

August 2020 - 707 appointments

August 2021 - 1297 appointments

Flu vaccinations

Invitation letters for our flu clinics have now been sent out to those patients who are eligible for the vaccine.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic there will be different procedures in place this year, including clinics being held outside to reduce the risk of infection.

If you do not wish to take up the invitation, we would be grateful if you could let us know.

Please note that, if you are aged between 50 and 64 and not in a clinical at risk group, the earliest you will be offered a flu vaccination is November, providing there is sufficient vaccine. No appointments will be offered for people in this age group until then and we will contact you when there are vaccines available. This is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first. If you are aged 50 to 64 and are in a clinical ‘at risk’ group which is eligible for the flu vaccination, for example you have a health condition which puts you at risk from the flu, you will be invited earlier.
