If you are unable to keep an appointment, please let us know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Sometimes even last minute cancellations can be rebooked or used for urgent needs.
Every month over 200 appointments are lost because people simply don't turn up and don't let us know. That is equivalent to over 35 hours of doctor's and nurses’ time which could but is not able to be used by our patients.
For this reason, patients who regularly fail to attend appointments that they have not cancelled may be asked to seek medical services elsewhere. Our full policy is available in the surgery waiting room.
