Test Results

We undertake to inform you about test results that require further action. We may do this in a follow-up appointment if we have agreed this with you. In the absence of such arrangements notification may take the form of a standard letter and does not necessarily mean that a serious problem has been found.

It is recommended that you make sure that you have been informed of your result either by seeing/speaking to a doctor or phoning the practice.

It is your responsibility to make sure that the practice has up to date contact details so that we can get in touch if we need to.

The practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. We will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
