Are you a carer?

Oldham Carers Centre offer advice, information and support to carers through a range of services which are run from the Link centre on Union Street in Oldham. These services include

  • Emotional support 
  • Advocacy service
  • Peer Support 
  • Counselling service
  • Emergency Card 
  • Carers Assessment
  • Carers Individual Budgets 
  • Drop in’s  
  • Activities

They offer support to all unpaid carers that are:

  • 18 years or over
  • Caring for somebody of any age with any illness or disability
  • Caring  for somebody that lives in the borough of Oldham  
  • Providing physical  AND emotional support

The Carer doesn’t have to be claiming Carers Allowance, can be caring for more than one person and doesn't have to live at the same address as the person they care for, with no minimum or maximum number of  hours of care being provided.

Please speak to a GP if you would like to be referred to the Oldham Carers Centre.
