BOWEL CANCER SCREENING

In April 2009 the Scottish Bowel Screening programme was started.

All women and men between the ages of 50 – 74 are invited to take part in this screening programme every 2 years.

Your doctor would like to stress how important it is to take part in this programme.

Follow the easy instructions on the pack which you will receive from the Scottish Bowel Screening Programme and return it as soon as possible.

It is a fact that the earlier Bowel Cancer can be detected there is a 90% chance of the disease being treated successfully.
