National Cardiovascular Disease Prevention (CVD) Programme

Breast Screening 2026/27

NEXT BREAST SCREENING ROUND – JULY 2026


All eligible patients from Ashfield Medical Practice will be invited to attend a routine breast screening check. This is estimated to be starting in July 2026. Patients will be invited to attend at: Stock Exchange Court, 77 Nelson Mandela Place, Glasgow, G2-1QT.
All eligible women aged between 50 and 70 registered with the practice will be sent an invitation letter from the Breast Screening Service. Women who they know from previous screening rounds to have had a bilateral mastectomy (both breasts removed), or those who have previously signed a disclaimer form requesting that they no longer receive any future invitations will not be invited.
Please note for transgender participants: all Female to Male (FtM’s) who transitioned after 14 June 2015 and previously held a female CHI number will be routinely invited for breast screening. Self-referrals can be made for FtM participants who transitioned before this date.
