Marie Curie

The aim of the Marie Curie Hospice is to provide the best quality of life for everyone with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses like cancer, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, end stage heart failure, renal failure etc

The focus is on helping people to improve their quality of life and to remain independent for as long as possible.

Marie Curie offers in-patient care as well as day service and out-patient care.
They don't just care for the terminally ill but also offer individually tailored treatments and therapies for day patients as well as symptom and pain control, rehabilitation, respite and specialist care to patients who need longer term support.

All patients and their families have access to social workers and counsellors for practical advice and emotional support.
