Cancelling your Appointment
 If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone or use the link at the bottom of this page to cancel your appointment. By giving us as much notice as you can you are helping us to make sure that someone else is given your slot.

Home Visits
The practice area is very large so it would help us if you could try to make your request for a visit before 10.00am. If you feel you require an urgent visit please ask to speak to the doctor.

At Allendale Health Centre we have almost 200 books in our patient library. The medical reference books cover a wide range of topics and are there for patients to browse or borrow. We also have novels, which have a medical theme and poetry books included in our collection.
Patients can borrow the library books for a period of 4 weeks.  

An honesty system is in operation and there is a register to record patient details and books borrowed. The books are all numbered to protect patients privacy.


Patients tell us that this is a very useful source of information.

We are always looking to expand the library and any suggestions for new topics are welcome.
