Cancelling your Appointment
 If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone or use the link at the bottom of this page to cancel your appointment. By giving us as much notice as you can you are helping us to make sure that someone else is given your slot.

Home Visits
The practice area is very large so it would help us if you could try to make your request for a visit before 10.00am. If you feel you require an urgent visit please ask to speak to the doctor.

When We Are Closed

Out of Hours Calls and Emergencies

The Northumberland Care Trust is responsible for providing medical services when the surgery is closed.

Northern Doctors Urgent Care — Out Of Hours Service is available when surgery is closed: 

  • Monday, Tuesday and Thursday — 6.30pm—8.00am
  • Weekends — 6.30pm on Friday to 8.00am on Monday.

On Wednesday from 12.30pm until 6.15pm please telephone the Surgery on 01434 683280 and the answerphone message will give you the duty doctors’ mobile number.

Please note that the GP Surgery will not be open on Saturday mornings.
