Mrs Clare Nock - Chief Executive Officer

Clare Nock

I have been a Manager in Primary Care for 25 years and the pressures which the NHS and Primary Care now face, are unprecedented.  I am delighted to be CEO of an organisation which is addressing these challenges; Wyre Forest Health Partnership is now operating at scale, developing new clinical models, chasing efficiencies and creating better way of working for both patients and staff. My role is to help develop the WFHP strategy and then ensure it is delivered, supported by the senior management team.

Ms Stella Baldwin - Patient Representative

Stella Baldwin

I am passionate about ensuring that patients and carers are at the heart of all NHS provision. I set up the very first Patients Group (in the country) at a GP practice in Wyre Forest over 25 years ago. Since then I’ve gained lots of experience working within the NHS locally, across Worcestershire and West Midlands, promoting patient and public involvement. I take very seriously my role as Patient Rep on the Board for this partnership, and feel confident to give constructive criticism and challenge where necessary. I’m very heartened that the Partnership greatly values the role of the Patient Rep when making plans and decisions that affect their patients.

Dr Roy Williams (Vice Chairman) - IT and New Services board lead - Stourport Health Centre

I trained as a registrar in General and Breast surgery before commencing my career in General Practice and still work one morning a week at Kidderminster Breast Clinic. I perform minor surgery regularly, and having had training in Orthopaedics and Rheumatology have an interest in bone and joint problems and perform joint injections in the surgery. I also represent the Practice as chair of the local GP Association, working with GPs locally in the development and management of local healthcare. I am currently vice chair of the Wyre Forest Health Partnership, supporting the role of the chair and sitting on the board, and am also IT lead - working with our IT team to improve use of technology in all our sites - by sharing good practice and improving quality of both IT use by clinicians, and availability of new technology for patients.

Dr Paul Williams - board lead - Church Street Surgery

Dr Dave Richards - Human Resources board lead - Hagley Surgery

David Richards

Born and brought up in Wembley, North West London I trained at Birmingham Medical School and qualified in 1987. I worked at hospitals in Stoke, Birmingham and Kidderminster before completing my GP training at Bewdley Medical Centre in 1991. I joined Hagley Surgery in November 1991 and have spent the last 25 years working as a GP principal there. During my time at Hagley I have developed a number of clinical interests including diabetes care (Warwick Diploma), Palliative Care, and Dermatology (Cardiff Diploma with distinction). I also completed a Diploma in Primary Care Therapeutics (with distinction) at Imperial College, London. I consolidate my palliative care knowledge by working weekends for St.Richard's Hospice in Worcester. Since merging and becoming part of the Wyre Forest Health Partnership I have been an active board member and taken the lead for HR in the organisation.

Outside work my main interests are sporting and outdoor activities. I still continue to play (geriatric) 5 a side football every week. I am a competent white water kayaker, dinghy sailer and a second Dan black belt at Tae Kwon Do.

Dr Andrew Cox - Clinical board lead - York House Medical Centre

Andrew Cox

I’m the overall clinical lead for the Partnership and represent the York House site. I have clinical interests in internal medicine and men’s health as well as performing minor surgery and joint injections. I’m also interested in gout. I do regular home visiting sessions and regularly attend and support the new Wyre Forest Ward at Kidderminster Hospital.  Outside my work as a GP, I have a youngish family and coach a local youth football team. I also play football, swim regularly and occasionally go skiing.  I enjoy growing fruit and a few vegetables including asparagus; even though it can increase the risk of gout.
