Extended Access – Appointments Outside of Practice Hours 

Extra appointments are being provided in the evening and at weekends across Doncaster. The service is an extension of your GP practice and offers routine and same day appointments with a range of clinicians including GPs, Nurses and other Healthcare Professionals.

When using the service, you may not see your usual doctor, but we do employ clinicians from local practices where possible.

With your consent, our clinicians will be able to access your healthcare record to ensure they can offer the right treatment for you, and prescribe medication or refer you for further treatment if necessary.

These appointments are run by Primary Care Doncaster Limited and are offered from the following locations:

 White Wings Centre USING THE ROOMS @ The Lakeside Practice, Askern, DN6 0HZ

Tickhill and Colliery Medical Practice, Tickhill, DN11 9NA 

CONISBOROUGH HEALTH CENTRE USING THE ROOMS from Conisbrough Group Practice, Conisbrough, DN12 3JW

Thorne Moor Medical Practice, Thorne, DN8 4BQ

Same Day Health Centre, Town Centre, DN1 2DJ

We can book you an appointment out of practice hours at a weekend or evening from reception – ask for further details.

These are over & above the appointments offered by the practice funding your care through the OUT OF HOURS provider ie 6pm to 8am weekdays / All weekends / bank Holidays ...

Hence please do not wait the next day to make your appointment - if you need care after 6pm - or at weekends/ bank holidays - ring the surgery and you will be dealt with ( please note this service is not for routine matters such as sick notes or repeat prescribing)
