The NHS advises it is safe to have both vaccinations at the same time.
You are considered at risk if you;
- have certain health conditions
- *are a poorly controlled asthmatic
- receive a carer's allowance, or are the main carer for an older or disabled person who may be at risk if you get sick
- live with someone who is more likely to get infections (such as someone who has HIV, has had a transplant or is having certain treatments for cancer, lupus or rheumatoid arthritis)
- are a frontline health or social care workers
If you are pregnant, you can receive your flu vaccine at this clinic.
*Poorly controlled asthmatics are eligible for vaccination, but this is defined as those who: have had 2 or more courses of oral corticosteroids in the preceding 24 months OR -are on maintenance oral corticosteroids OR – have had at least 1 hospital admission for asthma in the preceding 24 months.
