Under the Scottish Patient Safety Program, Scottish Government offer Practices the opportunity to assess their safety culture, looking at the key areas of Communication, Workload, Teamwork, Leadership and Safe Systems. Please take a look at our latest results.

5 partners(4.5WTE). 2 partners are Dip. Occ. Med. One partner involved in CHP. One partner CSA Examiner. Practice carries out occupational medicals, acupuncture, minor surgery.
Any interesting features of the practice
Purpose built premises since 2002; private car parking. ST3 has own room. Registrars library (shared with adjoining practice). Paperless practice using VISION. Also involved in FY2 and undergraduate education. Webcams in all rooms for easy consultation videoing.
Educational opportunities
Experienced training practice in area with well established day release scheme and CSA preparation course via day release/residential meetings. All partners committed to education and carry out in-house 360 degree appraisal and peer review of partners’ video consultations. Practice is a participant in PBSGL, meetings every 1-2 months. In house CSA preparation is available, provided by our CSA examiner partner.
Advantages/opportunities of working in our practice
Friendly, sociable practice in pleasant town centre, only 50 min drive to centre of Glasgow. All partners are involved in and support training. 3 partners current or previous trainers. Informal visits welcomed.
