We are an approved Training practice with two of our Partners being Trainers – Dr Mohan Segarajasinghe and Dr Michael Merriman.
Our practice ethos is that we are committed to providing first class primary care in a challenging environment. We are also committed to the ongoing development of individuals and teams. We like to put patients first and we feel we are a warm and welcoming practice.
The practice values skill mix and our clinical team consists of four Partners, Salaried GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacy Team, Practice Nurses, Health Care Assistants and Phlebotomist. We also house ARRS staff (Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme) - Specialist Respiratory Physician, Macmillan Navigator, Physiotherapists and Social Prescriber Link Workers.
The EMIS Web clinical system is used at the practice and we have achieved Paperlight Accreditation.
We hold regular Practice and Clinical Meetings and have allocated time set aside for Practice/Professional Development. We have a study based at the main surgery which holds the most essential of the ‘Registrar’ texts and journals/magazines. There is also internet access.
