From January 1st 2019 Narrowcliff Surgery has changed the way we operate our travel service.
Patients are asked to research the vaccines required for the areas they are travelling to and one of our specialist trained practice nurses will provide a travel risk assessment. If indicated the surgery will provide the following vaccinations:
Diptheria, tetanus and polio (DTP)
Measles, mumps and rubella (MMR)
Hepatitis A,
Typhoid
Cholera.
Men ACWY if under 25 years
Where further vaccinations for your travel are indicated, these will need to be sourced elsewhere.
Any questions please ask to speak to one of the Nursing Team.
If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.
There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below
It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel
