Welcome to Cwmfelin Medical Centre
ALL PATIENTS - Please wear a face covering if you visit your GP practice
Face Masks & Exemptions - Important information for patients
The practice is following the government advice to ask all patients to wear a face covering when attending the GP practice. These measures are to reduce the risk of spreading infections to patients who may be attending the surgery for appointments (many of whom will be vulnerable) so that we can maintain our services to patients during the pandemic.
We understand many patients are exempt from wearing a face mask. Where this is the case we are kindly asking patients to wait outside or in their vehicle until their appointment time and they can be collected by a clinician to walk through the waiting room without the need to wait there or sit down.
If you would prefer to wait inside and are willing to cooperate with our policy you will be provided with a mask.
We will not refuse to see any patient but kindly ask for your cooperation.
We are receiving daily abuse from patients regarding this but would really appreciate understanding and cooperation of these measures so we can continue to provide care and protect the most vulnerable in society.
