Welcome to our surgery website where we hope you will quickly benefit from a user friendly layout and a variety of information about our healthcare services. Find out when we’re open and what are the options when we’re not, all from the comfort of your own home.

Islington Central Medical Centre (previously St Paul’s Road Medical Centre) is a relatively new purpose-built medical practice opened in Sept 2008.  We are one of the oldest and now largest practice in Islington.  We care for over 17,000 patients.

We welcome all new patients and our only criteria to register as a patient is, you must live within our catchment area, a map is provided at Practice Boundary.

The Reception Desk is the gateway to all services we have to offer. The member of staff are here to help you. Whatever you tell them will be treated as confidential. We aim to provide high quality, efficient and caring health services to people living in Islington.

A wide range of other services are offered at the practice. The practice is accessible for disabled, wheelchair-friendly and we also offer video phone for sign language at reception.

We have a longstanding reputation as a high quality teaching and training practice for medical students on placement with us.  Please advise the doctor if you want attending medical student to leave the consulting room.
