Important

Due to sickness amongst staff , there can be a delay in responding the phone calls. Be kindly reminded of our zero tolerance policy and be kind to our members of staff , they are working hard to meet the demand.

Notice

Due to the recent alert from UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) and the reports on the media, we are experiencing extremely high number of calls regarding concerns about Strep A.

We are also experiencing an increase of people coming to the reception desk with queries.

We are working hard to try and meet demand, but you may experience long waits on the phone and in person. Please be patient and be reminded of our zero-tolerance policy towards abuse to staff.

For non-urgent matters we continue to advise patients to call 111 or complete an online consultation form, which can be found on our website.

PCN Enhanced Services

Primary Care Networks (PCN) are groups of GP Practices who work together and are commissioned to deliver enhanced services.  Vine House is part of North Watford PCN along with Abbotswood Medical Centre and Sheepcot Medical Centre.

As you may know, we currently provide GP extended hours.  However, from 1st October 2022 this will be changing to provide access to a wider variety of “out of hours” services which will be more consistent across the country.  All PCNs have been asked to provide this enhanced service Monday-Friday 6.30pm – 8.00pm and Saturday 9.00am – 5.00pm.
