From Monday 16th August we are allowing patients who have pre-arranged appointments with the doctor or nurse back into our reception area.   Our door will be open, but we continue to encourage patients to call the surgery via our telephone triage system for all medical queries and requests as we have done throughout the Covid pandemic.  

Please use the online service for prescription requests if you can.  All patients should have a nominated pharmacy to whom we can send their prescription electronically.

Triage appointments, script requests, blood results, etc will not be dealt with at Reception and you will be asked to call us.

The initial triage telephone appointment only system will remain and if the GP wishes to see you they will arrange the appointment with you.

We apologise for any inconvenience, but this is essential to minimise social contact and ensure the safety of all of our patients and staff.

As you may be aware we are part of a Primary Care Network with nine other local practices.  We are working closely together to support one another in these difficult times.  One of the Practices has put together some useful information covering frequently asked questions on Coronavirus which they have agreed for us to make available for all of our patients via the link below;

SystmOnline is a website and app provided by TPP which allows patients to view their electronic medical record as well as providing other features such as appointment management or ordering repeat prescriptions

Patient online access to Records

Our Practice now offers the facility for patients to view online, export or print detailed coded information (plus full detailed information from 1 April 2020) held in their own records.

Types of coded data available to patients will include:

    • Demographics

    • Allergies/Adverse reactions

    • Medication (dose, quantity and last issued date)

    • Immunisations

    • Results (numerical values and normal range)

    • Problems/Diagnoses

    • Codes showing referral made or letter received (no attachments)
