We are a training practice for the Teesside branch of the Northern Deanery of the University of Newcastle
which means you may see a different GP registrar in the surgery every 6 months. Training is carried out by Dr Fish.
Dr Fish gives valuable tuition to these fully qualified doctors who are gaining experience in a general practice setting.

Notice to patients

Dr Neil Brownlee retired from the Practice Partnership on 31st July 2021.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to Dr Brownlee for his tremendous contributions, hard work and dedication during his tenure as a GP Partner at Huntcliff Surgery and wish him well in the future.

However, we are delighted to announce that Dr Brownlee continues to provide a Joint Injection Clinic from the Practice on a monthly basis.

We are pleased to announce that Dr Elizabeth Appleton became a GP Partner at the Practice on 2nd August 2021. Many of you will have already met Dr Appleton as she was previously a Salaried GP at the Practice.

On the 16th August 2021 Dr David Siddaway, GP Partner joined the Practice, you may remember Dr Siddaway from when he was here in 2018 during his GP training. Welcome to the team Dr Siddaway.

Online Access

Patients can order prescriptions and/or book smear appointments and routine blood test appointments online. To register for these services:

  • You will be required to complete an on-line access form and show address confirmation such as a utility bill and also photo ID, such as a passport or photo driving licence to a member of the administration team at Huntcliff Surgery.
  • You will then be issued with an access code and registration instructions.

  • This is a quick and easy process and need only be done once. 

  • Registered users will be provided with a password, which will be required to sign in.
