Log on to Systmonline here: https://systmonline.tpp-uk.com/

Systmonline - Register at our reception (please bring photo identification). You can then access elements of your medical record via a computer or smartphone. The functionality is similar to the NHS App.

NHS App - Download from the App store on your smartphone. Use your phone to register, using photo identification. This allows you to book, change or cancel appointments, view your medical record, order repeat prescriptions, check your symptoms and manage your organ donation preferences. Find out more: https://www.nhs.uk/apps-library/nhs-app/

MJOG Messenger - This is a two-way text messaging service. Find out more: https://www.mjog.com/products/mjog-smart/for-patients/ It allows us to send you text messages about your health, such as a reminder to book your appointment to have a flu vaccination. It then allows you to reply in a specific format (for example, to decline further invitations for a flu vaccination until next year).

We hope that this helps. Please don't hesitate to contact our reception for more information.

Welcome to The Green House Surgery

We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.

Serving You

hospOur dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.

Partners in Care

Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient participation group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice services are always heading in the same direction.

Help Us to Help You

The care of our patients is fundamental to the service we provide and it should be recognised that the patient has a responsibility in part for his or her own well-being. We may prescribe treatments to aid a particular complaint or condition and may make recommendations to effect changes or modifications in lifestyle to promote the patient's well-being.

Your responsibilities to us are:

  • To attend or cancel your appointments with us.
  • To comply with any treatment recommended or prescribed.
  • To try and live as healthy a lifestyle as possible and ask for help and advice if necessary.

Care Quality Commission

Baby change

Whilst we encourage parents to feed their children wherever they choose, there is a breastfeeding room/baby change on the landing outside the practice.

Patients with Disabilities

The Green House Surgery is located within Redcar Primary Care Hospital. There are disabled parking bays at the front of the car park, nearest to the building. There is also a "drop off" point directly outside the main entrance. The Practice is on the first floor and can be accessed via a lift. Whilst the lift has mirrors, the nearest lift does not allow wheelchair users to turn their wheelchairs around in the lift. If the wheelchair user is unaccompanied and unable to look behind them whilst in the chair, there is a larger lift (with adequate turning space) at the rear of the building. All toilet facilities are for both disabled and able-bodied users. Our staff shall be pleased to offer assistance to patients with special needs, please just ask.

For patients who need assistance in moving around when visiting the surgery, we have a wheelchair available. Please don't hesitate to ask for assistance at reception.
