Welcome to Threeways Surgery

IMPORTANT SURGERY UPDATE MAY 1 2024
CHANGES TO THE WAY YOU ORDER A PRESCRIPTION
We are encouraging all patients where possible to download and use the NHS app particularly when ordering prescriptions as we will over the course of the next few weeks no longer accept prescription requests in paper format.  Email communication will still be in use for some time while patients get familiar using the NHS app.
The NHS app will provide access to your medical records, results and documentation which will prevent patients having to contact the surgery for information.
Wednesday May 15th 10am - 12:30 we will be holding a drop in session for any patients needing assistance with the NHS app set up and log in.
CHANGES TO THE WAY YOU MAKE A GP APPOINTMENT
The way you will book an appointment at the surgery will be changing soon. We are launching a new total triage system.  To request a GP appointment you will need to use an online form from the website or via the NHS app.  Patients who are unable to use the NHS app or website will be able to speak to one of the care navigators who will fill out the form on your behalf. All GP appointment requests will be triaged and each request will be offered the most appropriate pathway of care.
Booking a nursing / health care assistant or blood test appointment will remain unchanged at this time.  We will keep patients updated when the new booking service commences.
We hope these adjustments over the forth coming weeks will improve the patient experience in booking an appointment.
The surgery website will be updated and a new platform detailing the surgery services and self referral pathways will be coming soon - further updates will follow.
We will be reducing the use of text messages to patients in the weeks ahead but will instead use email addresses as a default for communication.  It would be of great help if you could update the surgery with an email address for your medical records.

Patients with Particular Needs

We aim to offer a welcoming environment for all our patients and do our best to assist those with special needs. We have a dedicated parking space for cars displaying a disabled sticker. We also have an induction loop at reception. Please turn your hearing aid to the appropriate position.
