Download and sign into the NHS app, using the same email that you have used to register at the surgery, or via the Patient Access app/website. Once you have activated this service, you will be able to cancel appointments, view test results, order repeat prescriptions and look at your medical record.

From the age 12...

A young person aged 12 or above is generally considered mature enough to understand and make their own informed decisions. They have a legal right to access their own records, and can allow or prevent access by others, including their parents. However, each case will be individually considered.

Any parental access to a child’s records must be in the child’s best interests.
