This service allows patients to help themselves through an interactive website and advice pages. Please note this service is for non urgent queries and has a turnaround of 2-5 working days.
Due to the high demand of this service we are only able to keep it accessible during surgery opening hours.
Patient Online is an NHS England programme designed to support GP practices to offer and promote online services to patients, including access to coded information in records, appointment booking and ordering of repeat prescriptions.

ACCESSING YOUR MEDICAL RECORDS
We are encouraging all patients to register to use EMIS Access
Once registered, you will:
- Be able to view your results (if analysed locally)
- Be able to book/cancel appointments
- Be able to order your repeat medication (please allow 48hrs)
- Be able to view all aspects of your medical records including immunisations (if added electronically)
All of the above means, that you will have instant access to your medical records wherever you are, this will minimise your need to contact the Surgery.
You can logon and use Patient Access on a computer, tablet or via a smartphone app, freely downloadable for Android (Google Play) and iOS (iTunes).
You can potentially have access to your full electronic GP record including consultations, medication, allergies, vaccinations, GP and hospital letters, blood test results and x-ray/scan reports.
You are also able to check the results of any blood tests or x-rays requested by your GP, download them, print them off at home, take them to hospital appointments etc.
You are then able to show your GP record, if you wish, to any healthcare professional that you might see, anywhere in the world (e.g. in a GP out-of-hours centre, A&E department or hospital), directly, or by exporting your record to a secure mobile device. Whether you have these facilities enabled or not will not affect your care from the surgery – it is simply an additional benefit that is on offer.
Patients can request a Patient Access account via online registration for Patient Access. Please note, this is NOT the same as patients who wish to move to our practice and Pre-Register with us.
This initially provides limited Basic Patient Access (one appointment can be made or cancelled at this stage, there is no access to repeat medication etc).
To gain full access, patients then need to bring photo–ID to verify their identity to show to the reception team. Full Patient Access will then be made available.

Is my information secure?
All information that is sent to your surgery via Patient Access is secure. Your personal details are encrypted and protected using the highest standard internet security, so it cannot be intercepted. Only you and your GP surgery are able to see this information
