Patient Online - giving you more choice in accessing GP services
Online access helps you to take greater control of your health and wellbeing by giving you access to appointments, ordering prescriptions, messaging and medical records 24/7.
You can request access to these services by completing a registration form available from the reception desk. You will need to provide photo ID and proof of address when you pick up your new user information.
Appointments - Booking of available GP appointments can be done online up to 28 days in advance. All your future appointments will show on the system and these can also be cancelled online. Note: you can only have upto 3 future appointments booked on the system.
Repeat prescriptions - Your repeat medication will be listed including the date when this was last issued. You can order your repeat medication and then track when this has been issued.
Note: As a rule it is still 48 working hours between you ordering your medication and collection from the practice or the pharmacy if you use Electronic Prescribing. If your medication is not listed then it probably isn't available on repeat prescribing. To request medication not on repeat use the messaging option.
Messaging - Send us your query using the secure message option. We will strive to answer your message within 48 working hours but this may not always be possible due staff annual leave or the need to make further enquires on your behalf. Note: The messaging service is for non urgent queries only and should not be used to request home visits or appointments.
Medical Records Access - Patients aged 18 years and over can request access to their Medical Records online. You can use this access to check your immunisation history prior to going away on holiday, view your test results or view correspondance from the hospital. Note: parents cannot view the medical records of their children.
Contact Details - Keep us upto date with any changes in your address, telephone contacts or e-mail address.
