Clinics & Services

    • Phlebotomy/Blood Tests - We proved appointments every morning at Poundhill and Tuesdays and Thursdays at Copthorne.  Please make sure you contact the Surgery 5 working days after the test for your results after 2:00.

    • Asthma Clinic - Designed to help asthmatics gain maximum control of their asthma. Please telephone for an appointment. 

    • Diabetic Clinic - Designed to monitor diabetic patients for control of their diabetes. Please telephone for an appointment. 

    • Ante-Natal and Post Natal Clinics - These clinics are held along with the Community Midwife. Please telephone to make an appointment. 

    • Family Planning and Menopause - All forms of family planning, including fitting of IUCD's (coils) and caps are available by consultation during surgery hours. Please telephone to make an appointment. 

    • Cervical Smears - Cervical smears are recommended at 3 yearly intervals between the ages of 25 and 65. Tests are performed by our practice nurses, at the Well Woman or Family Planning Clinics. Please telephone to make an appointment. 

    • Child Immunisations and Surveillance - For routine childhood immunisations for those aged 0-12 years and developmental checks. 

    • Minor Surgery Clinics - The practice provides a range of minor surgery and, should you require a procedure, the doctor or practice nurse will provide you with details. 

    • Hypertension and CHD Clinics - The practice offers clinics for various Chronic disease groups for monitoring and follow-up. 

    • Travel Clinics - Consult your practice nurse at least two months before travel. They will advise you what vaccinations are required and what medications you may need. There may also be a charge for some travel vaccinations and medications.

    • Smoking Cessation - Details of local smoking cessation clinics can be obtained from either Reception Desk.
