Clinics & Services

We provide a range of clinics. For an appointment or further details please contact us via Tel: 020 8430 7710.

Asthma

Patients with asthma will be asked to come for a check-up annually with our Practice nurses. Patients can also make an appointment if they have any concerns or queries about asthma.

Diabetes

Led by our Nursing Team, this clinic offers advice and general health check-ups to patients diagnosed with Diabetes.

Child Health and Immunisation

All new babies are invited for a six week check along with the mother, when she has her postnatal. The baby is then called at eight weeks to start their immunisation program. All parents/guardians are given explanations about the procedures relating to the immunisation program. Parents are given a record book, known as the "Red Book" by the initial Health Visitor. The Red book should be brought to the surgery, for completion during every attendance that involves immunisation/child health checks. Consent is always obtained for the child to be immunised.

Cytology

This service is Nurse led - all women requesting a cervical smear test must inform the Reception Team, when booking appointments. Advising the Receptionists of the precise reason for the appointment, will enable the correct amount of time to be allotted for this particular type of appointment.

Health Checks

The Practice offers lifestyle health checks to all new patients and to patients who have not attended for a long time. Patients may also make an appointment with our Practice Nurse for lifestyle advice. This will include diet, smoking, lowering cholesterol and general healthy living information.

All patients aged 16-74 years, who have contacted the surgery for an appointment, but have not attended the Practice for a period of 3 years prior; will be given a health check during the consultation, when they attend. This general health check will include e.g. Blood pressure check, and referrals to be sent for blood tests.

Patients reaching 75+years, who have contacted the surgery for an appointment, but have not been seen by a doctor during the previous 12 months, will also receive a general health check during the consultation. This general health check will include e.g. Blood pressure check, and referrals to be sent for blood tests. Patients in this age group may request a home visit, if they are registered as housebound with the Practice.

For further information please enquire at Reception.

Minor Surgery

We have Specialist Doctors who are able to perform minor surgery; please enquire at Reception, if required.

Stopping Smoking

The Practice offers support to all patients who wish to stop smoking. Appointments can be made with either a Nurse or Doctor.

Travel Vaccinations

Patients wishing to arrange for travel vaccinations, may make an appointment with a Practice Nurse. More information is available on the above tab.
