Personal Lists

The doctors like to run personal lists and you are encouraged to see your own doctor whenever possible.  Exceptions are emergencies, when doctors are on holiday and for certain specialised services.

The doctors specialise in one or two areas of medicine and your own GP may refer you to another partner for a more detailed opinion.

Immunisations / Vaccinations for Children

All children are offered & encouraged to have immunisations as per the recommended NHS Schedule.

NB

Children of school years 1 and 2 are offered the flu nasal vaccine at school.

Girls aged 12-13 are offered vaccination against Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) to prevent cervical cancer at school.

BCG is no longer offered routinely at 14 years old.  However, at risk newborns will be immunised.  Your midwife / health visitor will advise & arrange immunisation.
