These are run on a regular basis on Tuesday afternoons. All our patients with diabetes are invited for review either by the practice or by the hospital clinics or some are shared. We have been fortunate in being able to put together a full diabetic care team including a dietician and a chiropodist, in addition to the doctor and practice nurses.
These are held each year in October and November. Patients who are at risk and who are over the age of 65 should make an appointment at reception in person or by telephone in early October. People particularly at risk include those with asthma or chest disease, diabetes, chronic heart disease, renal disease and those who are immuno-supressed because of medication or disease.
Asthma & Spirometry Clinics
