Clinics & Services
Baby and Children's Immunisations
The National Immunisation program for children starts at the age of 2 months. The Practice will remind you when to make an appointment to bring your child/ren to see the Practice Nurse.
Cervical Smears
The Practice Nurses carry out regular cervical smears as part of the screening programme. We recommend that smears should be done every 3 years or 5 years after the age of 50.
Diabetic Clinics
All of our Practice Nurses will do a full diabetic check within their normal clinic times. To book an appointment please telephone 020 8630 3476 (Willow Surgery)
Family Planning
Advice available from all doctors and practice nurses in normal appointments. Emergency contraceptive advice is also given.
Foreign Travel
The Practice Nurse will be happy to advise you on any immunisations required for foreign travel. For some vaccinations there will be a charge, please ask at reception for further details.
Maternity Services
All doctors provide ante-natal care, shared with local midwives. As soon as you know you are pregnant (or ideally if trying to conceive) start taking Folic Acid tablets. Make your first ante-natal appointment with a doctor.
Minor Surgery
Dr Seddon from Redwood Practice performs some minor surgery for our patients.
Specialist and Hospital Care
If a GP or other member of our Health Care Team believes you need hospital treatment or specialist care elsewhere a referral request will be sent to the appropriate centre. You will then be sent an appointment in the post.
Other Services
- Flu immunisation for over 65s and other “at risk” groups.
- Regular reviews for patients with long-term conditions.
