Travel Vaccinations

We offer a limited but high quality travel vaccination and advice service which includes NHS provided vaccines.  We offer the following:

Fitness to Travel/Fly Certificate £30.00 (no examination)
Vaccination Certificate£30.00
Polio Certificate£30.00
Confirmation of Medication to Travel   £30.00

We still offer Hepatitis A, typhoid, tetanus, diphtheria, polio and MMR vaccines – these vaccinations are available FREE.

We are not able to offer any private travel vaccinations which includes Rabies, Japanese B encephalitis, Meningitis ACWY and Hepatitis B.  This is due to increases in related costs.  These vaccines are still available from private providers and details of some private travel clinics are listed below for your information.  We are not able to endorse or recommend any specific clinic.

Please remember that you should make your  first appointment for vaccinations with a private travel clinic as early as possible, at least 6 to 8 weeks before you travel. 

Please remember to take with you to your appointment proof of vaccinations already received if you have them. 

Your second appointment should be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.

If you become unwell after your trip remember to tell us that you have been abroad. Malaria can develop up to a year after you become infected despite taking all possible precautions to protect yourself while abroad

EHIC Insurance

When travelling abroad please remember to ensure that you have the correct insurance in place. To apply for a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), click on the following link; Department of Health Website or telephone 0845 606 2030  or collect a form from your local Post Office. The EHIC is issued free of charge and entitles you to reduced-cost, sometimes free, medical treatment while you’re in a European Economic Area (EEA) country or Switzerland. You should have this card as well as travel insurance.
