Non-NHS Services

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:

  • Letter from the GP
  • Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
  • Insurance claim forms
  • Passport signing
  • Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
  • Private sick notes
  • Vaccines Certificates

The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.

If you require a letter from the GP, payment must be paid prior to the letter being typed and you must email the practice with following information:

1) Who is the letter for?

2) Full details of what is to be included in the letter

3) Your full name, address and date of birth.

Payment can be by card, bank transfer or cash. Please email the practice for our bank details and if paying by cash, please bring the exact money as reception do not hold any cash and are are unable to give change.
