Information for Unpaid Carers in Nottinghamshire
You are a carer if you provide unpaid support to a family member, neighbour or friend. They could need support because they are ill, frail, disabled or have a mental health or substance misuse problem.
This practice is working closely with Carers Federation to identify, inform and support our carers.

Your Carers Champion will be able to point carers to relevant information as to where they can get help whether that is information leaflets, someone to talk to, or access to services.

- are not the only person providing care to someone
- are not related to the person you care for .
- are in receipt of carers allowance
