New Patient Checks

All new patients are invited to have an initial health check to enable us to obtain details of past medical problems and provide better care.

Family Planning

A basic family planning service is offered by the Practice including prescription of the pill. Advice on family planning matters is available from the doctor during normal surgery. Patients requiring more complex family planning advice including coils and contraceptive implants will be referred to specialist services by the doctor.

Children's Health

Childhood immunisation and vaccination clinics - held as required. Appointments will be sent by the Vaccination & Immunisation Team at Victoria House for parents to attend with their children. Please let us know if you cannot attend and we can rebook your appointment easily.

Diabetes/Heart Disease/Stroke/Asthma

Patient reviews are held annually (to coincide with date of birth).

Well Person Check

For patients who would like general health check, an appointment can be arranged for this service with one of our Practice nurses.

Cancer Care Service

Following an initial cancer diagnosis, we aim to provide the continuing care and support that you want. 

Practice Nurses

The nursing team advise on travel immunisation and general health matters. They offer chronic disease management, cervical smears and blood pressure checks, blood tests, etc. They also assist the doctors. The nursing team is also available for advice on many health related matters - providing an alternative to an appointment with the GP.
