Community Midwives

The ante-natal clinic is held weekly although the exact day does change at short notice due to Midwife staffing issues. Please contact them directly for further details on either 01942 481487 or via the community desk on 01942 481461.

Our midwifery team run the clinic and they all work closely with the doctors to provide quality antenatal and postnatal care.

Community Nurses

We are proud of our strong team of district nurses who work with us in the community. They have excellent communication links with the GPs enabling them to deliver a professional, efficient and effective service. They provide a high standard of nursing care for those patients needing various high levels clinical of treatment within their own home environments as well as the Health Centre premises.

Health Visitors

We have assigned to our practice several of the local team of health visitors. They work together and assign mothers to be to the team member who will suit best the needs of the mother.

For baby weighing, feeding issues, concerns about vaccinations, general concerns and development checks are held in Chandler House usually on a Thursday.

It is important to bear in mind that for ill babies you may be advised to return later to be reviewed by the doctor as one is not necessarily available all the time at this session.
