Dr Patterson has worked part-time in the practice since 2004. She combines her role at the practice with her work as a specialist GP providing palliative care at St Cuthbert’s Hospice in Durham.

Our Nurse Practitioner can deal with minor ailments such as coughs, colds, chest infections, eye problems, earache, sore throats and cystitis.
You can make an appointment directly with one of the nurses. The receptionist will advise which nurse is appropriate.
Our Healthcare assistant supports the practice nurses with their daily work and carries out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement, new patient checks and may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
The management team is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The team supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
Patricia and Donna are responsible for referrals and the choose and book system helping to make sure that patients get their hospital appointments at a time and place that suits them.
Together, the team run the dispensary and the repeat prescription services.
