Dr Crispin joined the Practice in 2002 following General Practice training locally and a six month post at the Rowans Hospice. He is involved as lead in Practice based commissioning and 'end of life' care. He has an interest in training and mentoring. He is lead in Diabetes and is involved in Clinical Research (WREN).

Please be prepared to give information about the reason for your appointment so that it can be made with the most appropriate member of our team and be allocated the right amount of time.

Many of our clinics are run by our nursing team with GP support, when needed, to help in the monitoring of various Chronic Diseases and to offer specialist health advice.

An experienced Practice Nurse and non-medical prescriber experienced in general practice.  She was lead respiratory nurse in her previous practice and covered a varied range of nursing care including contraceptive/HRT checks, travel and immunisations. 

A passionate practice nurse, who successfully gained her PgCert in primary care (Level 7 Master's Distinction). Lead in learning disabilities and host to a variety of general nursing practice skills including cervical screening, immunisations, diabetes and woundcare.

Summarising Clerk

Is responsible for 'coding' all pertinent and important medical diagnoses, operations and medical histories from the old paper based Lloyd George envelopes and transferring the information on to the clinical computer system. All incoming new patient notes are transferred to the clinical system within six weeks of receipt by the Practice.

Data Entry, IT and Audit Clerk

Responsible for coding all relevant information received from incoming clinical mail such as diagnoses, investigations and clinical data. Is also responsible for audit of clinical data for the Quality and Outcomes Framework (see QoF) and the Primary Care Information Services (PRIMIS) who encourage the effective use of IM&T and the recording of good quality data in primary care. She is also responsible for liaison with Emis Web, our clinical system supplier, and Healthcare Computing (www.healthcarecomputing.co.uk) our Primary Care IT support specialists.

Scanning Clerk

Responsible for our continuing push to become 'paper lite' They scan all paper medical documents and incoming hospital letters on to the clinical computer system for ease of retrieval anywhere within the Practice.

Medical Secretary

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
