Out of Hours

Between the hours of 6.30 p.m. and 8.00 a.m. Monday – Friday and over the weekend or bank holidays please dial 111 or the surgery number (01787 378226) where your call will be diverted to the out of hours service provided by the NHS Suffolk

Test Results

All results are seen by the Doctor who ordered them. Please telephone for the result between 2.00 p.m. and 5.00 p.m. when our staff will be able to pass on the Doctor’s message to you. Please allow 3 working days for results to be available.

Telephone Advice

If you need medical advice your details will be taken and our Nurse Practitioner will phone you back later. If the matter is urgent, please advice us and it will be dealt with straight away.

Nurse Practitioners

Caroline Stevens is currently providing our Nurse Practitioner services, she is available for telephone consultations and appointments and can examine, diagnose and treat conditions normally dealt with by a doctor. She is able to prescribe a wide range of medication and, if appropriate, refer patients to other clinicians outside the Practice.


Our team of Practice Nurses; Heather, Jenny, Chrissie and Dawn, review and treat patients for the following:

Chronic diseases such as asthma, Heart Disease and Diabetes,

Wound dressings

Travel advice and vaccinations

Child immunisations

Contraception and HRT checks


Ear syringing

General lifestyle advice.

Healthcare Assistants

Our Healthcare Assistants; Nicci and Mary Louise support the Doctors and Practice Nurses seeing patients for Blood Pressure Checks, ECGs, Smoking Cessation and New Patient Checks.


You can have your blood taken at the Sudbury Health Centre or at West Suffolk Hospital.
