Doctor qualifications explained:
MBChB, MBBS, MD: These are primary medical qualifications. Although the lettering differs between universities, they are all dual degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
MRCGP: This is the post graduate qualification awarded when a doctor has completed their training in general practice and gained membership to the Royal College of General Practitioners.
DRCOG: The post graduate diploma in Obstetrics (pregnancy) & Gynaecology (female reproductive organs) is a qualification awarded by the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists that some doctors choose to take. Doctors awarded this qualification have passed an additional examination and have demonstrated an advanced knowledge in this field, although this does not make them a hospital specialist.
