Please read the following letter regarding changes to our prescription service
Unless housebound, you cannot order a repeat prescription over the phone - unless you are a housebound patient. In this case, you must speak to a prescription team member
Patients that take regular medications will need a repeat prescriptions. For a safe and quicker process, repeat prescriptions are now computerised. Your doctor will have entered what medication you are taking onto the computer and each time a new prescription is processed, a new request form is also generated for you to make your request.
Repeat prescriptions have to be reviewed regularly, at least once a year by a doctor. Our policy at Littlewick is to review your medication during your birthday month where possible. Please ensure you book your review well in advance.
Please allow two working days (48 hours) for your prescription to be processed. Request and collection should be between Monday to Friday, 10AM - 5:30PM.
If you have more than one repeat prescription, please try and order all your items together.
You can either deliver or post your repeat prescription form to the surgery. If you would like the prescription to be posted to your home address, please enclose a stamped addressed envelope. There is a special box at the reception where you can leave your prescription request without the need to queue.
Alternatively you may order online via the link at the top of this page. If you would like to register for Systmonline you can collect an application form from the surgery or download one here. You MUST provide a form of photo ID for us to be able to validate your account. For more information contact the surgery on 01159 325229 and ask for Ryan. You must be 16 or over to register with SytmOnline. If you would like to register your child then you need to provide your own details and we will give you additional access rights to manage your child’s medication/appointments.
Please plan your requirements ahead, particularly during school holidays.
