Repeat Prescriptions

Please give 48 hours notice of repeat prescriptions in writing either using the re-order form provided with your last prescription or by letter or by using the forms available at reception.  Repeat prescription ordering is also available on-line via the link at the top of this page, please enquire at reception for further details.

Please do not ring the surgery with prescription requests as this blocks the telephone line and can lead to errors.

NB: If items requested are not on your regular repeat prescription list they may take a little longer to process as, for your safety, your medical records need to be checked thoroughly by the doctor to ensure the medication is appropriate.

Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)

This is an NHS service and it gives you the chance to change how your GP sends your prescription to the place you choose to get your medicines or appliances from.

For further details please download the EPS summary document here.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
