The system for ordering your prescriptions is changing with effect from 1st September 2016. You will need to register for Patient Access (if you are already registered to book appointments online you do not need to do anything) Registering for Patient Access can be done from the home page of our website, then you need to bring proof of identity next time you visit the surgery.

Registering for patient Access will give you access to online booking of appointments as well as ordering repeat prescriptions and will also give you access to some of your medical records. The prescription ordering is simple to use, as you will just click on the items you require. Please take a look at the following link

If you have any questions please ask a member of the reception team.

Repeat Prescriptions

Please send or deliver your repeat prescription form to the surgery or telephone the repeat prescription line on 479105 and your prescription or medication will be available after 2 working days.

If we do not dispense for you, enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope and your prescription will be sent to you. Requests for medication cannot be taken over the normal surgery telephone line.

Alternatively you may order online via the link at the top of this page.

Dispensing Arrangements

The practice dispenses its own medication to patients who live more than one mile from a chemist.

The health service regulations on this matter are very strict and this service can only be offered to those patients who register as dispensing patients when they join the practice or when they move house.

We are also able to offer safe disposal of any of your unwanted or out of date medication. Please give them to our dispenser.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
