Your doctor may issue you with a prescription for medication which you can take to any pharmacy or may be sent to any pharmacy electronically - you need to advise the surgery of your 'nominated pharmacy'. Please see reception for a form.
If you have repeat medications, these will be listed on the form attached to your current prescription. There is a letter box for completed repeat prescription requests at the surgery or you can order on-line via the link at the top of this page (click here for information about registering for online services)
We do advise that you allow at least 3 full working days between submitting your request for more medication and collecting it - please see the schedule below. Park Surgery receives over 550 prescription requests per day so it is important that you allow enough time for your request. Repeat medication will not be issued on demand.
If you request that your prescriptions are sent to a pharmacy, you will need to allow an additional five working days before collection. However, prescriptions sent to pharmacies electronically will be processed more quickly.
PLEASE NOTE - Online services can only be accessed from within the UK.
Please see table below:
Ready for collection
Any amendments to repeat prescriptions can only be made by a doctor and will result in a delay to the collection time.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
