Repeat prescriptions will be issued only at the doctor’s discretion and are normally for patients on long-term treatment.

To telephone prescription requests the line is open between 9 a.m. and noon (01287 622207 please select option 2).
Requests for prescriptions by telephone will be taken if you cannot easily get to the surgery.

You may also call in at the surgery and “post” your request into the repeat prescription box. Alternatively you can send in a stamped addressed envelope please allow five working days for your prescription to be returned to you as we cannot be sure of the postal service.

House-bound patients can request that their prescriptions are delivered to their home.

Online Prescription Requests

Patients can also order prescriptions online here.

To register for this service:

  • You will be required to complete an on-line access form. When you hand the completed form in to the surgery you will also be required to show address confirmation such as a utility bill and also photo ID, such as a passport or photo driving licence to a member of the administration team at Huntcliff Surgery.
  • You will then be issued with an access code and registration instructions.
  • This is a quick and easy process and need only be done once.
  • Registered users will be provided with a password, which will be required to sign in and order repeat prescriptions on-line.

Please allow 48 hours for our prescription to be processed.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
