bottle of pills Click here to access the online repeat prescription form

pillsWe normally supply repeat prescriptions for two months at a time for those whose need for medication is stable. However, there are some circumstances in which this isn"t appropriate, particularly when starting medication, or changing the dosage. Giving a longer prescription like this is always at the doctor"s discretion.

Unless absolutely necessary (for example, if you are housebound), please don"t telephone for repeat prescriptions. (Telephoning can introduce mistakes and slows the service down.) Instead, you are welcome to send in requests for repeat prescriptions by:

  • Filling in the Online Form (Link below)
  • Fax to 01525 631398
  • Letter (please enclose a stamped addressed envelope if you want it returned to you by post)
  • Repeat prescription card - hand it in at the surgery, or to Wilstead Post Office; many local chemists will also send it on to us; or else send it to us by post
  • Ticking the counterfoil on your previous prescription

Whatever the method, please indicate clearly where you want the prescription to be sent.

Many local chemists will deliver prescriptions to the housebound. Please tell us if you would like to use this service.
