The building is all we had hoped for and more. It allows us to offer quality services in appropriate surroundings and it won’t be long before the landscaping gets established.
We've been busy. There’s been lots of interest in what we are doing and we have sometimes found it a challenge to keep up with demand and the influx of new patients.
We really enjoyed the opening ceremony when Lady Mary Holborow spoke with real insight and understanding of the health challenges and opportunities facing the new Surgery.

Our Aims
Wheal Northey Surgery aims to serve its practice population by providing a first class primary care service that combines friendliness with professionalism.
We plan to use this surgery website to present all our patients with up to date news and information about our practices. We will keep it current with any developments or other details that we feel are relevant to you.

Research
Wheal Northey Surgery is pleased to be actively involved in research organised by the Primary Care Research Network. This is part of the NHS National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) and the UK Clinical Research Network (UKCRN). As a practice we are involved in research to improve the knowledge about illnesses and so develop better treatments for all patients. All the research that the practice is involved with has been approved by the NHS.
This means that your doctor may ask you if you want to be involved in a study the practice is conducting.
The Practice is not paid or employed by drug companies to take part in studies.
