Welcome to the Whitstable Medical Practice
Welcome to our surgery website. We hope to use this site as a way of presenting all our patients with an up to date resource for all information relating to our practice. We will keep it current with any news, developments and details that are relevant to the practice & our patients.
The practice operates from three sites, one at Whitstable Health Centre, one at Estuary View and one at Chestfield Medical Centre, serving a population of approximately 31,000 people. There are three groups each with doctors and staff who provide a full range of medical and nursing services throughout the working day.

Bus Service to Estuary View Medical Centre
We are grateful to Tesco Stores who have organised for their Free Bus Service to include Estuary View Medical Centre as one of the drop off and collection points. The bus takes a circular route from Tesco's to Swalecliffe, Tankerton, Harbour Street, Borstal Hill, Estuary View Medical Centre and back to Tesco's. This free bus service runs from Tuesday to Friday and the first bus leaves Harbour Street at 09.30 and then every half hour until 14.00. A full timetable is available at Estuary View Medical Centre and Tesco Stores.
Kent County Council have also agreed with the current operator of route 638 a variation in its route so that it serves Estuary View Medical Centre. The service will operate between Faversham, Hernhill, Dargate, Yorkletts, Seasalter, Estuary View Medical Centre, Grimshill and Whitstable in both directions every two hours between 09.30 and 16.00 on Monday to Friday and between 09.30 and 14.00 on a Saturday. When booking an appointment please make our reception staff aware if you are going to use the bus service and every effort will be made to give you an appointment during the time the service is available.
