The Patient Participation Group of the Twyford Practice
Twyford Practice serves the communities of Twyford, Morestead, Owslebury, Colden Common, Brambridge, Compton, Shawford and Otterbourne. The Patient Participation Group aims are:-
To improve communication between the patients and the Practice and to feed back to the Practice patients' concerns and expectations.
To provide a forum for discussion on the provision of local health care, and for promoting health education issues.
To act as a community pressure group using its influence to bring local needs to the attention of local health authorities.
The committee welcome communication on any of the above issues from the patients, but are unable to mediate on any personal issues.
If you wish to contact the PPG you may do so by emailing them at email@example.com.
‘Friends and family test’ – Patients are encouraged to respond either using the forms located in the surgery, or to take the FRIENDS AND FAMILY TEST online. (You can find this in the links down the right hand side of this site.)
Electronic repeat prescriptions ordering and appointment system
The new EMIS on-line system allows Patients to order repeat prescriptions, book GP
appointments and view a summary of their medical records. This is part of a government plan to enable patients to gain access to more in depth information about their medical history and over time more details of patients medical records will be released for patients to view.
Patients will need to register via Patient Access before they can access this system. Any concerns please contact the surgery.
