See our 2014-15 Patient Participation Group Report

The Patients' Forum meets on a quarterly basis and is an ideal opportunity for our patients to discuss issues with staff and doctors.

We welcome new people to come along and the date of the next meeting is posted in the surgery. Please ask at reception for details. All patients are welcome to attend. Details of our meeting dates are updated regularly.

So far, since the group commenced meeting the Practice has made the following changes:

  • Inception of the Practice Participation Group
  • Online Booking is now available for GP Appointments
  • Online booking is now available for Nurse Appointments
  • Requests for Repeat Medications can be made on line
  • Prescriptions can be sent electronically directly to a Pharmacy of the Patients choice
  • Greater availability of "on the day" appointments to see a GP
  • Greater availability of "on the day" appointments to see a Nurse
  • Greater availability of pre-bookable appointments to see a GP, up to 4 weeks ahead
  • Greater availability of pre-bookable appointments to see a Nurse, up to 4 weeks ahead
  • Greater availability of telephone consultations for a patient to speak to a GP

A survey of our patients has been conducted on behalf of the patient Group to help inform it of some options you would like to see happen for future meetings.
